Actor Rashmika Mandanna is likely to be roped in to play the leading lady opposite Tollywood star Ram Charan in his film with ace filmmaker Shankar. The Orange hero is reportedly keen on working with her and the 'Karnataka Crush' is expected to allot bulk dates for the biggie in the coming months.
The film will mark Rashmika's first collaboration with the 'Mega Power Star' if things go as planned. The Geetha Govindam star was previously offered a role in Charan's upcoming film Acharya, starring veteran actor Chiranjeevi, but the part ultimately went to Pooja Hegde.
The mass hero's film with Shankar is touted to be an ambitious 3D drama and will be shot on a grand budget. It is likely to be released in multiple languages and will cater to the tastes of the pan-India audience. The movie, however, is expected to go on the floors only after 'Mr C' and the I helmer wrap up their current projects.

Shankar is working on the Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2, a sequel to the 1996 classic Indian/Hindustani. It features Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady and marks her maiden collaboration with 'Ulaga Nayagan'.
Charan, on the other hand, is wrapping up the shoot of the SS Rajamouli-helmed Rise Roar Revolt (RRR), which features him as the parallel lead alongside Jr NTR. The magnum opus is touted to be bigger than the Baahubali saga and may prove to be a gamechanger for Indian cinema. It has a stellar cast that includes Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Thor actor Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran.
Rashmika, meanwhile, will soon be making her Kollywood debut with the Karthi-starrer Sulthan. She also has the pan-India movie Pushpa, co-starring 'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun, and the Hindi movie Mission Majnu in her kitty. There have been talks of her teaming up with 'Megastar' Amitabh Bachchan for a Bollywood movie.
