Daniel Craig made his second stint as 007 in the 2008 films but it was largely panned by critics and Moore believes that a more humorous script in the next Bond film will impress the viewers, Daily Express reported.

"It (Quantum of Solace) wasn't a great film by any means and the series does now really need a little humour again, as that is part of the charm of Bond," said the 83-year-old actor.

Meanwhile, the 23rd Bond movie was put on hold earlier this year after film studio MGM suffered heavy losses, but fans were given hope when company bosses announced a landmark deal this week to rescue the firm's finances.
