Amole Gupte's upcoming film 'Saina,' a biopic on India's badminton star Saina Nehwal's life is garnering attention on social media for some wrong reasons.

The poster, which seems to have gotten the Saina and Sania sports slightly mixed up caught the attention of Twitterati who were quick to point out that it used the stance of a tennis serve with a shuttlecock thrown in.

While many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film and its music, some replied to the T-Series poster with witty retorts on the wrong serve.

"I hope you didn't mix up Saina with Sania in the storyline too!" wrote one Twitter user.

Saina was at the receiving end of criticism for her tweet "against propaganda" after global celebrities such as Rihanna and Greta Thunberg tweeted on the farmers' protest. Several people had pointed out how Saina and Akshay Kumar's tweets on the issue were exactly the same.

Several Bollywood celebs and sports personalities had tweeted earlier this year asking people not to fall for "propaganda" after farmers' protests began garnering attention among international celebrities and on social media.

Coming back to the film and the poster, many also outpointed that the shuttle is not served from a height in badminton.

"A tennis fan must have made the poster," tweeted user @sagarcasm

Others outpointed the 'lack' of logic in Indian films.

The film is slated to release on March 26 and will have Parineeti Chopra playing the lead role.
