Shruti was dressed in a blue toned silk sari with dazzling border and long sleeved black net choli, which was a part of the art of tarot collection that Nanda presented at the the gala event.
When asked how comfortable she was sporting a sari, Shruti said: "It's one of those things you have to get used to and this sari is very comfortable. So it was quite easy walking the ramp in this."
"It's a very unique and vibrant collection of what I am wearing and what I saw of the whole collection. It's really beautiful to look at," added the actress who made her Bollywood debut with "Luck".
Talking about his collection, Nanda said: "The collection was inspired by tarot cards, so when we started researching tarot cards from around the world, most of the tarot cards decks that I saw were very dark or heavy in flavour."
"They were not kind of fun and fashion, that was not the spirit. So, I thought why not make a few cards and if we like it we'll make a collection around it."
Colours like emerald, royal blue, fuchsia and red along with earthy gold and tan moved onto fabrics ranging from georgette, soft satin and silk knit. The line comprised of tunics, dresses, saris, kurtas and lehengas.
