A total of 61,847 pilgrims have arrived from India, of whom 27,487 are in Makkah and 34,345 pilgrims are in Madinah. So far, 223 flights have come from India.
On Friday, the first child birth for an Indian pilgrim was reported from Madinah. The baby girl was born to a couple from Uttar Pradesh. The Haj to Makkah, the holy city for Muslims, is obligatory in Islam at least once in a lifetime.
