The incident took place on Thursday at Mallavaram village, when over 100 people, who attended a traditional ceremony organised by a villager, consumed eatables there and fell sick, they said.
Soon after consuming the eatables, some of them started vomiting and fell unconscious, police said.
Doctors from nearby Primary Health Centres at Kotananduru and Rothupudi immediately arrived at the spot and examined the victims, they said.
"All are out of danger and their condition is stable," the doctors said. Further investigation into the matter is on, police said.
