Amid the row over the film The Kerala Story, legendary musician A R Rahman has shared the video of a Hindu couple getting married at a mosque in Kerala.

A social media group recently posted the video captioned as "Here is another #KeralaStory" which was shared by Rahman on Thursday.

"Bravo... love for humanity has to be unconditional and healing," Rahman tweeted.

The video is from January 19, 2020 and shows a Hindu couple Anju and Sharath tying the knot in a mosque in South Kerala's Alappuzha district.

The Cheravally Muslim Jamaath Committee conducted the marriage ceremony considering the request of the bride's mother who reportedly hailed from a financially weak background. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had then shared the picture of the marriage on social media citing it as yet another instance of communal harmony in Kerala.

Teasers and trailers of the film The Kerala Story that highlighted 'love jihad' and mentioned that 32,000 Malayali women had joined ISIS had triggered protests in Kerala. The ruling CPI(M) and opposition Congress alleged that it was part of the Sangh Parivar agenda to create communal divide and unrest in Kerala.

The film was released in Kerala on Friday. A petition seeking ban on the screening will be considered by the Kerala High Court in the afternoon.
