The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to introduce life-long date of birth, caste and place of birth of certificates to everyone.
The state government aims to provide greater relief to the common man, especially students.
In a meeting of secretaries, at the state secretariat in Amaravati on Friday, Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha asked officials to issue necessary GO within fifteen days.
He said that to prevent inconvenience to students every year for getting certificates, the new certificate should be issued with a life-long validity.
The chief secretary said that the date of the birth certificate should be issued for life long valuation as there would be no changes and the income certificate should be issued for every four years as there would be a possibility in the change of income.
He said that the common man should not be troubled in the name of police verification for issuing certificates.
The chief secretary asked officials to place necessary files before the cabinet meeting on January 21, for approval.
Secretary of Information and Public Relations Ramanjaneyulu hailed the decision by saying that it would provide great relief to people who are distressed for the lack of these certificates for the past several decades.
