Kejriwal announces ten guarantees in Chhattisgarh; promises free electricity, allowance for women & unemployed
Seeking to make inroads in Chhattisgarh, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced ten “guarantees” for the upcoming assembly polls in the Congress-ruled state including free electricity, monthly 'samman rashi' for women and Rs 3,000 monthly allowance for the unemployed. (PTI)
Union Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers Bhagwanth Khuba on Saturday said the Indian economy is growing because of the "stable government" under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "The Indian economy currently stands at $3.3 trillion and it will achieve the target of $5 trillion in the next four years. When India will be celebrating 100 years of Independence, the size of the Indian economy is expected to remain between $32 to 42 trillion. In that, the contribution of the health sector will be significant," said the minister.

Scindia loyalist returns to Congress from BJP citing neglect in saffron party
A loyalist of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and working committee member of the Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party has joined the Congress.
Samandar Patel (52), an Other Backward Classes leader from Jawad area of Neemuch, had joined the BJP when Scindia and MLAs loyal to him rebelled against the Congress in March 2020, leading to the collapse of the Kamal Nath government.
"The BJP neither accepted or respected me nor my supporters. I was never invited to party functions despite being a working committee member. In fact my supporters were bullied with false cases," he told PTI.
