Personnel in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) such as Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) as well as Delhi Police were hired by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The function was held across 45 locations across the country.

While distributing the letters, PM Modi said that the personnel will act as the “Amrit Rakshak” of “Amrit Kaal”.

“The pace of the recruitment process was quickened from application to final selection, examinations are being conducted in 13 local languages in place of English or Hindi as was the case earlier. There is also recruitment of hundreds of tribal youths in Naxal-affected areas of Chhattisgarh by relaxing norms and the special quota for the youth from the border area and extremism-affected areas,” he said.

He added that the recruitments come at a time when India has reached the Moon.

“From food to pharma, from space to startups, it is necessary for all sectors to grow for any economy. I can tell you with confidence that India will become one of the top three economies in this decade,” Modi said.

The recruitments have been done for various positions such as Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty) and Non-General Duty Cadre posts.
