Famous Bhojpuri writer Brajkishor Dubey was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his friend's flat on Monday, police said.
Dubey, who had been awarded by the President for his contribution in Bhojpuri literature, had taken the key to friend's flat in Rajiv Nagar area a couple of days ago, saying that he wants to stay alone in a peaceful manner to write an important piece for his upcoming book.
Patliputra Colony SHO S.K. Shahi said that the writer had left a suicide note where he has not blamed anyone.

Jailed human rights activist Gautam Navlakha, who was last week allowed to be placed under house arrest for a month by the Supreme Court owing to his medical condition, is yet to walk out of Navi Mumbai's Taloja prison, where he is lodged in connection with the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, as formalities for his release are still under process.

Turkey on Monday accused a Syrian woman of planting a bomb that killed six people in Istanbul, blaming the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of carrying out the attack.
Two girls, aged nine and 15, were among those killed when the bomb exploded shortly after 4:00 pm (1300 GMT) on Sunday in Istiklal Avenue, home to smart boutiques and European consulates. More than 80 other people were wounded.
"The person who planted the bomb has been arrested," Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said in a statement broadcast by the official Anadolu news agency early Monday.
People in Delhi will now be able to enjoy open-air dining at their favourite restaurants with the MCD allowing the use of open spaces and terraces for serving food, albeit with some restrictions.
According to an official document, eateries in the national capital with terraces and open dining spaces will also not require any additional fire safety certificate from the Delhi Fire Service as long as certain conditions laid by the authority concerned have been met.
"The MCD has approved the grant of licence for use of open space and terrace for dining purpose. In supersession of all earlier orders, servicing of food is now allowed in open space and terraces," said an official order issued on November 4.

A shooting on the campus of the University of Virginia late Sunday left three people dead and two wounded, university police said in a tweet, adding that the suspect was still at large and "armed and dangerous".
