Locals staged a protest as bulldozers arrived in the Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi on May 09. The protesters were sitting on the roads to stop the anti-encroachment drive in the area. Several Congress leaders had also joined the protest. Delhi Police had deployed forces to avoid any untoward incident.
