Devotees take part in 'ganga aarti' at Varanasi's Assi ghat

Devotees thronged Varanasi’s famous Assi ghat to take part in the year's first 'Ganga aarti' on Sunday. Many also gathered at the ghat to watch the rituals and offer prayers on the first day of the new year.
