Police found the explosives in a van during routine checking last night. Ten spark plugs and 800 kg of ammonium nitrate were also seized from the vehicle after the driver could not account for the explosives and the purpose for which they were being transported, they said.
Besides the driver, another person in the van was also arrested, they added.
