The Gujarat government on Tuesday ordered the police to solve the mysterious death of a television journalist Chirag Patel.
Patel, 26, was found dead on March 16.
Initially, the city police registered the case of suicide (accidental death) but a day later they changed it is as a case of murder.
A senior police officer said that although the murder case has been filed, there is no evidence suggesting foul play. There are no external injuries.
The CCTV footage shows him alone at different spots. Patel made the last call to his brother.
Congress leader Hardik Patel criticised the state government for bad law and order situation.
BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya told media persons that government has instructed the police to solve the case as soon as possible.
The Ahmedabad Detection of Crime Branch has also been asked to assist in the investigation.
