Amit Shah to launch BJP campaign in Jammu today, release manifesto

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the BJP's poll campaign and release the party's manifesto during his two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir beginning Friday.

J-K polls: 248 candidates in fray for 2nd phase after scrutiny of nomination papers

Nomination papers of 62 candidates out of 310 were rejected on Friday during the scrutiny for 26 assembly constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly which are going to polls in the second phase, officials said.

The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is Monday, while polling for these seats will be held on September 25. (PTI)
