The NC Chief then announced that they and Congress will fight the J&K elections together. Meanwhile, BJP released its first list of candidates for the J&K elections, but withdraw it quickly. In a post on X, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah clarified the whitener on the MUDA letter by posting a video where the words whitened out are visible using a light flashed from under the letter. He said that his wife had asked for a replacement plot in the letter following the original land illegally being acquired by MUDA. However, when one of the replacements suggested was not available, it was whitened out.
