"In total, 1049 cusec water was released from May 1 to May 22. But, the supply started to decline from May 23, it dropped from 719 cusec and 309 cusec to 675 cusec and 283 cusec," she said.

Due to the intense heatwave, Delhi has been suffering from acute water crisis.

'Modi was not sworn in as a BJP Prime Minister but as a NDA Prime Minister': CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury

"These results constitute a big setback for the BJP and Mr Modi. They started this entire election campaign aiming to cross 400... '400 paar' was the slogan that they had given. Eventually they ended up with 240, that is a clear 63 seats less than what they had before. This is 32 seats less than the majority. This is not the result they were hoping for, and the fact that he (PM Modi) got sworn in yesterday... the important point you have to note is that he was not sworn in as a BJP Prime Minister, he was sworn in as a NDA Prime Minister," CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury tells PTI.
