'AAP in cahoots with illegal tanker mafia': BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Delhi's water shortage

'Today everybody is asking AAP a question about their relationship with water tanker mafia,' questions BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla

When asked about the current water crisis in Delhi, Shehzad Poonawalla said, "Today everybody is asking AAP a question about their relationship with water tanker mafia

"Even after the SC order, they are not ready to take action against the mafia. They are trying to accuse others so that mafia can be protected.

"This means that just like the liquor scam, where they were getting a commission on every bottle. Now, maybe they are getting a commission again on water tankers."

Police on Thursday began patrolling the Munak canal area to check the activities of tanker mafia and Delhi minister Atishi inspected a pipeline network supplying water to South Delhi residents as the water crisis in the city worsened.
