Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi interacted with students and faculty of Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA and said that during the Lok Sabha elections campaign he saw "a psychological collapse" of Prime Minster Narendra Modi when the latter claimed to be a "non-biological" being.
"...Halfway through the campaign, Modi didn't think that he was near 300-400 seats...We knew when he said that I speak directly to God. We knew that there we had blown him apart...We saw it as a psychological collapse...The coalition that brought Narendra Modi to power has collapsed...There is a huge nexus between the government and two or three large businesses. OBCs and Dalits are being taken for a ride," Gandhi said.
On his daughter Babita Phogat not getting a BJP ticket, Mahavir Phogat said that the party's decision should be accepted. "Not everyone gets a ticket. The decision that has been taken by the party has been taken with due deliberations. What the party decides, should be accepted," he told ANI.
"AAP has released its first list, and today we will also release the second list. AAP will fight strongly on all 90 assembly seats. AAP has only one goal: to uproot and throw out this corrupt BJP government. BJP has turned Haryana into the crime capital," said AAP Haryana President Sushil Gupta.

Congress' Pawan Khera has levelled fresh charges against SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch and accused her of lying. Khera said that Buch earned crores from companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Dr. Reddy's. ICICI and others through her husband's advisory firm Agora. Buch had claimed that the firm became dormant after she assumed charge of SEBI.
BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Tuesday said that Omar Abdullah can see his defeat, that's why he is remembering Afzal Guru, the terrorist who attacked on the Parliament.
"What is forcing Congress and the National Conference to remember Afzal Guru? It is clear that they are losing this election so they are talking about such things...These are the parties that cause trouble...They are talking in the favour of terrorists, which clearly shows that Omar Abdullah and Congress and National Conference are going to face their defeat," he told ANI.
Abdullah had said that Afzal Guru's execution "served no purpose."
On seat sharing among Mahayuti, Pawar said, "We all be sitting together to discuss all 288 seats...Maximum discussion has been done...A few seats are remaining and those seats will be discussed soon...The exact number will come once our final discussion."
