On BJP-JDS workers' protest in Mandya, Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar said, "They should have basic common sense. Let them do politics. We respect all religions. We can't allow anyone to take the law into their hands."
"BJP is trying to weaken the I.N.D.I.A bloc. Their ministers such as Giriraj Singh used to abuse him (Nitish Kumar) a lot. They should be ashamed now, there are boundaries even in politics," he said.
"My point is: why are they (BJP and Janata Dal-Secular) instigating people? For what? Let me know. What for they are instigating?" says Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, reacting to Mandya protest over removal of Lord Hanuman's flag.

'Bihar Deputy CM' written on the nameplate outside the residence of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna has been covered with newspapers. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar yesterday broke ties with the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and formed the government with the BJP-led NDA.
"Today the major changes that have taken place in Bihar have been done under the vision of PM Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda... I have been given a huge responsibility, it's time to serve the people. The pace of development will be faster under the double-engine government. This opportunity is purely for service.
