Online sensation and social media star Poonam Pandey passed away this morning, her social media team claimed on her Instagram account. She was 32.
“This Morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that have lost our beloved Poonam Pandey to cervical cancer. Every living form that came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief. We would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we share.” (sic)
This news has sent shock waves through the industry with many refusing to come to terms with it.
Poonam was one of the celebrities to share her perspective on the Maldives-Lakshadweep row. She cancelled her shoot at the last moment to express her support.
Poonam Pandey had appeared in Kannada and Telugu movies such as Love Is Poison, Malini & Co.. Amit Saxena's 2013 film Nasha marked Poonam Pandey's debut in Bollywood. Apart from movies, Poonam has also tried her luck in TV shows. She participated in the TV reality show Lock Upp Season 1.
Apart from acting, Poonam is also known for her bold photoshoots. She boasts of a massive fan following on social media, where she often teases her followers with her pictures and offers a glimpse into her luxurious life.
