Meet the canine warriors of Indian Army who are the first responders in any anti-terror operation in J&K.

These four-legged soldiers of the 12 Army dog unit are being trained to carry out search operations & attack terrorists.

The training of these dogs are being held in the Budgam district of J&K. The Indian Army has various breeds of dogs in its units including labradors, german shepherds, Belgian malinois, etc.

Every Indian Army dog has a handler to train and guide them daily. The success of the anti-terror operations mostly depends on the highly trained members of the Indian Army's dog squad.
