A fresh case of destruction of evidence will be slapped on Gopal Goyal Kanda, Haryana's former minister arrested for abetment to suicide of his former employee Geetika Sharma, police said Wednesday.
Police may also question actress Nupur Mehta who worked with Geetika in Kanda's casino in Goa.
Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dharmendra Kumar said a charge of destruction of evidence will be slapped on Kanda.
He said they were "piecing together" the evidence they have collected in the case.
Geetika, 23, a former flight attendant of the now defunct MDLR Airlines owned by Kanda, had accused Kanda and his employee Aruna Chaddha of harassing her and forcing her to commit suicide.
She died on the night of Aug 4-5 at her house in Delhi's Ashok Vihar area. Kanda and Chaddha have denied the allegations. Kanda is in police custody and Chaddha is in judicial custody.
Talking about the possibility of questioning actress Nupur Mehta, Dharmendra Kumar said: "Everybody related to Kanda will be interrogated."
He said investigations were on into the deletion of the Facebook account of Geetika.
On Tuesday, police slapped charges under sections of the Information Technology Act on Kanda for allegedly sending false electronic message leading to harassment of Geetika.
