2 crocodiles, fish die in YTPS fly ash pond

Two crocodiles and several fish died in the fly ash pond of the Yermarus Thermal Power Station by the side of River Krishna here on Saturday.

Local residents say the crocodiles in the river may have swam across to the pond.

The fish and the crocodile may have died after drinking water contaminated by the effluents let out of
the thermal power station, the residents are of the opinion.
