Ever since economic reforms began in India in 1991, the potential of a good degree in management has also increased considerably. And with the constant boom in Indian economy, the importance of an MBA from a good college has to be hardly overemphasised.
While it is true that prestigious colleges such as IIMs have set the benchmark for management education in India, several other institutes, too, have created a niche for themselves and are matching the IIMs in terms of quality.
Students who fail to get their way into IIMs need not worry. There are several other equally good colleges that can turn them into efficient, able, and competent managers.
The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is an important entrance examination for admission to postgraduate courses in management and computer application.

Although many other entrance tests exist for MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka, the importance of KMAT lies in its vast network of member colleges.
