Mysuru: In a significant development in Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case related to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, sub registrar at Additional District Registrar Office at MUDA premises V Rukmini has completed the process to take back 14 sites returned by the CM's wife, B M Parvathi on Thursday. She has released documents to MUDA.

Rukmini informed this to Deccan Herald, who had taken all necessary signatures from Parvathi on Tuesday.

In the wake of various developments, due to the issue, Parvathi had taken the decision to return those sites voluntarily, as per the press statement released by her on Monday night.

On Tuesday morning, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's son and MLC Dr Yathindra visited MUDA Commissioner A N Raghunandan, and handed over the letter of his mother Parvathi, in which she had urged to take back the 14 alternative sites allotted by MUDA in Vijayanagar third and fourth stage in Mysuru, as compensation for her using her 3.16 acre on survey number 464 of Kesare village in Mysuru taluk, without acquiring it.

MUDA Commissioner A N Raghunandan told DH that after he received the letter, they examined the legal provisions and sought legal advice from experts, to check if those sites can be taken back.

After finding out that it was possible, he had passed the order to take those sites back on Tuesday.
