Agatti will be the 64th destination on the domestic network of Air India. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays the airline will operate the ATR flight IC 7503/7504 on the route Chennai-Bangalore-Agatti-Bangalore-Chennai sector and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the ATR flight IC 7501/7502 will operate on the route Chennai-Kochi-Agatti-Kochi-Chennai.
It will leave Bangalore at 1000 hrs and reach Agatti directly at 1200 hrs. On the return leg, flight IC7504 will leave Agatti at 1230 hrs; reach Bangalore directly at 1430 hrs, Depart from Bangalore at 1535 hrs to reach Chennai at 1635 hrs.
Flight reintroduced
Air India has reintroduced its flights on the Bangalore - Singapore - Bangalore sector offering competitive fares. The flight AI 444 will leave Bangalore in the midnight at 12.05 to reach Singapore directly at 6.55 am (local time) thus providing onward connections to destinations in South East Asia, Australia and Far East.
According to a official press release, the incoming flight AI 445 will leave Singapore at 7.50 am (local time) to reach Bangalore at 9.30 am daily. The flights will be operated with the latest Airbus A 319 aircraft with both Economy and Executive class comforts combined with in-flight entertainment.
In view of the Commonwealth Games 2010 at Delhi, Air India has launched two schemes (LUCKY 7 and JUMBLE 12) to be effective on travel from October 1, 2010 to November 14, 2010 for the passengers flying out from Delhi to any domestic / international station on Air India network.
Under LUCKY 07 scheme, any individual travelling seven times on Air India domestic/international flights in Economy class ex Delhi during the scheme period will be eligible for an Economy Class Return Award ticket (two coupon) to any destination on AI domestic network ex-Delhi. The award ticket will be valid for three months from the date of issue and can be claimed for self or for any nominee.
