Police investigations revealed that a man named Anwar had recently rented the shop to run an illegal LPG refuelling operation, employing the victims, Syed Rehan and Syed Ayan, both of whom are his relatives.

Due to their lack of knowledge about the correct procedure, an explosion occurred during the refuelling process. Locals and the police quickly rescued the injured men.

The Electronics City police have registered a case and are making efforts to trace Anwar, who is currently absconding.
