Bengaluru: Four men, including two bouncers, arrested following a brawl in central Bengaluru on Wednesday were not connected to Arbor Brewing Company, police sources have clarified.
Ashok Nagar police arrested two bouncers of a pub after they scuffled with the customers of another pub located in the same building on Magrath Road. While initial reports stated that the bouncers were deployed by Arbor Brewing Company, the management has denied this.
"Neither bouncer had anything to do with our company. None of our men was involved in the incident," an Arbor representative told DH.
A person was severely injured in the incident, and police have taken up a case based on a medicolegal report, a police officer overseeing the case told DH.
According to the police, the two pubs are located in the same building on Magrath Road. The patrons of a pub on the third floor came downstairs after a couple of drinks and caused a ruckus.
"As the patrons talked loudly and engaged in a noisy argument, the bouncers of another pub in the same building had a heated argument with them and exchanged fisticuffs," the officer added.
The officer stated that neither the bouncers nor the incident had anything to do with Arbor Brewing Company.
