Actor Arjun Sarja on Monday appeared before the investigating officer, the police inspector of Cubbon Park police station B Ayenna Reddy, in connection with the case registered against him by actress Sruthi Hariharan.
Sruthi Hariharan had alleged Arjun had sexually harassed her on the shooting sets of "Vismaya" a bilingual flick over a series of incidents starting November 2015 through July 2016. She filed a complaint on October 27, 2018, almost 2 years after the incident after posting her ordeal on the #MeToo campaign.
Investigating officer told DH that Arjun Sarja cooperated with the investigation which was around two hours of questioning session. The actor was handed over a questionnaire where he had to answer either 'yes' or 'no,' said a police source.
Arjun was then asked if he had harassed the complainant during four separate instances as she had delineated in her complaint to which he replied "no".

The actor told the police that his counsel had submitted the log book of shooting and a few video footage to the police for their verification.
He also asked the police why didn't the complainant bring it to the notice of the director or other film crew if such a thing could have happened on the shooting sets.
Apparently, a couple from Chennai who had come to watch the shooting of "Vismaya" and stayed at UB City also came along with the actor to testify in favour of him. The police took the statements from all concerned and sent off the actor.
