I work really hard from Monday to Friday and make it a point to take my weekend off. I have never worked on any weekend and don’t intend to either. I believe that I need at least two days to completely unwind.
I look forward to weekends because that’s when I do things that I enjoy the most. There have been times when I have continuously watched four or five movies and I watch them all at the theatre because I believe nothing can compensate for the big screen experience. I am a foodie and there are a few of my favourite food joints. I have a large group of friends because I changed many schools and I make it a point to go out with all of them. We either chill at their homes or go to our favourite hangouts. I love Mediterranean food and grilled fish and chicken are my favourite dishes. And these are what I typically order when I go out.
Buying and selling cars is another passion. I know that I can’t own too many cars but I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest innovations in the automobile industry.
When I am in Bengaluru, most of my weekends are dedicated to baking. I can’t imagine a day without sweets. But I know that I can’t afford to have too many, considering that I have to keep to a strict diet to stay fit and healthy.
That’s when I started baking my own fat-free desserts which include death by chocolate, dark chocolate cake and cookies and other chocolate-based desserts.
Weekends are also when I slow down the pace of whatever I am doing because it is pretty rushed on the other days.
I have grown up to be a disciplined person and a stickler for time, thanks to my father. He has taught me the value of time and how important it is to report to the shooting location on the dot.
My work gives me a lot of energy and weekends are also when I also recharge myself to rise up to the challenges that lie ahead.
