Bengaluru: A car went up in flames on the Outer Ring Road in the southern part of the city on Monday night. No casualties were reported.

The Madiwala traffic police said that the car burst into flames due to a short circuit. A man named Tejas was driving the car, but escaped unharmed.

The incident occurred between 29th Main Road, BTM Layout, and the Silk Board Junction. Traffic crawled for about an hour before the flames were doused and the car was removed from the spot.
