Despite the 10 Sessions Court halting the release of Kannada movie KGF starring 'rocking star' Yash, the movie hit the screens on Friday as scheduled without any disruptions.

More than 2000 shows have been scheduled on day 1 for the much-anticipated movie in Bengaluru city alone.

Cinegoers thronged to theatres across the state from the early hours, where the first show was scheduled in Mysuru at 1:00 am. Though few people were anxious and confused about the movie release, they were relived after the early morning shows were screened smoothly.

"The court order should reach the producer, as it might have not reached till now, the movie was released, " a senior advocate told DH.
