DH and Prajavani, in association with the Manipal Group of Hospitals, will conduct a special seminar to create awareness on kidney-related diseases to mark World Kidney Day on Wednesday.
Medical experts will discuss effective symptom management among youths for preventing kidney-related diseases, causes and early diagnosis, dialysis and patient empowerment.
Kidney warriors and their caretakers will share their stories of struggle, courage and compassion.
The seminar will be held at the Sterling Mac Hotel, Old Airport Road, from 11.30 am to 1 pm.
IPS officer D Roopa will be the guest of honour while Dr H Sudarshan Ballal, Chairperson, Manipal Hospitals, will preside over the event.
