Launching a DVD, “Festivals of India” narraged by Mathoor Krishnamurthi at the Raj Bhavan he said that people had forgotten religion as content of education.
“We have not been able to give the kind of education which was imparted at Nalanda and Takshashila universities in the past," he said.
Krishnamurti said the DVD featured narrations of 14 main festivals of India including Guru Nanak Jayanthi and Mahaveer Jayanthi.
