Volunteers from the Aster CMI Hospital refurbished the Kunthi Grama government school in northern Bengaluru's Hebbal on Wednesday as part of the 'My India Healthy India' campaign during the Independence Day.

Volunteers cleaned the school compound and painted the walls, spreading the message of health and hygiene. The school, which has 30 children, lacks basic cleanliness. Volunteers from the online art marketplace YepArt who sprayed graffiti on the school walls.

Dr Nitish Shetty, CEO, Aster CMI Hospital, said: "The kids were elated to see their school has got a much-needed facelift with a colourful makeover. It was a heart-warming day for us where the smiles of these kids and the warmth and appreciation we received from the teachers just made our day."
