Whistleblower KAS officer K Mathai, who has accused three IAS officers of harassment, said on Friday that he was being provoked to commit suicide.
"I have sought permission of the chief secretary to prosecute three IAS officers, two under secretaries and one section officer of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR). But it is forwarded to the very officer against whom I have complained. DPAR officials are provoking me to commit suicide by creating documents to punish me. Now, the only way left for justice is suicide," Mathai said in a statement.
CM's appointment
Mathai, who unearthed the illegal hoardings scam in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and irregularities in the allotment of sites in the Mandya Urban Development Authority, said his application requesting an appointment with the chief minister was pending for the last one
year.
IAS mafia
"The IAS mafia is not granting me the appointment," said Mathai, who is currently the Sakala Mission administrative officer.
