To help them take that step judiciously, Deccan Herald and Prajavani have organised a two-day fair –– “Jnana Degula” –– on Saturday and Sunday to help students decide on their further studies.
To be held at Palace Grounds (Tripuravasini Entrance), the fair will feature a pre-counselling guidance session for the Common Entrance Test (CET) candidates and those who had appeared for the Under Graduate Entrance Test conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K).
Besides, there will be a career counseling and lectures by eminent members from the industry and academia.
There will also be representation from various universities and institutions from the fields of engineering, medicine, architecture, banking, hotel and business management, fashion designing, aeronautics, animation, business administration et al.
Chartered accountancy institutes, education consultants, English language centres, IELTS preparation institutes, IT colleges, textile institutes and travel academies among others will also help students understand what they must pursue.
