Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the family of the two children who drowned in Kengeri Lake.
Fire and Emergency personnel had recovered the body of John Srinivas (13) and his 11-year-old sister Lakshmi on Tuesday.
Nagamma, their mother, is a sanitation worker employed by the BBMP.
