Land surveyor 'caught' taking Rs 55K bribe

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) said on Tuesday that it caught a surveyor of Bengaluru North taluk taking a bribe for issuing Podi documents of a land.
Nagappa K P, an assistant director at the Land Records office, had allegedly demanded Rs 55,000 from a man, who lodged a complaint with the ACB. A Podi document refers to the demarcation of land between different owners.
