A 55-year-old man was saved in the nick of time by a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable as he slipped off a moving train and almost fell into in the gap between the train and the platform on January 20.

Gaurav boarded the KSR Bengaluru-Hosapete Passenger (train number 56910) at platform number 1 of the Hosapete railway station around 2 pm.

Harisha C, an RPF constable, notices him getting into the train with great difficulty. The train starts moving suddenly. Gaurav loses balance and slips off the train. But before the traveller falls into the gap between the train and the platform, the constable rushes to his rescue and pulls him to safety.
