Namma Metro services on Kempegowda Metro Station-Mysore Road (Reach 2) stretch will be restored from March 26, two days earlier than the schedule announced earlier.

On March 17, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) had said that the train services on Reach 2 will be suspended till March 29 to take up signalling works on the Mysore Road-Magadi section as part of works to commission the extended line to Kengeri.

In a new release issued on Wednesday, however, Chief Public Relations Officer B L Yashavanth Chavan stated that the train services will be resumed from 7 am on Friday. This is due to the advance completion of signalling works on the section, he added.
