Bengaluru: The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (Nimhans) will host the third edition of Mental Health Santhe on October 15 at the Nimhans Convention Centre. The event is expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees, including students, professionals, and caregiversfrom across the country.
The aim is to make mental health and suicide prevention a key component of public health discussions, engaging people of all ages— from children and adolescents to adults and the elderly. There will be 60 stalls by various organisations and each stall will educate the public on mental health. Top entries from the drama competition on the theme ‘Mental Health and Well-being’ will perform during the event.
Arundathi Nag, Managing Trustee and Artistic Advisor of Ranga Shankara, will be the chief guest.
