Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the president of the Association Ramakrishna Mudgal said, there are around 5,500 industries in Peenya, which are badly hit due to the continuous load-shedding.
“For the last 15 days, scheduled and unscheduled load-shedding for a duration of 6-7 hours is taking place in the industrial area due to which production is hit badly. We do not have captive power plants to cope with the power crisis. The government should improve the power scenario,” Ramakrishna added.
He added that a die-casting company in the area is consuming too much of power, though it has its own power generating capacity.
