There has been a massive gridlock starting from Varthur Kodi to HAL Old Airport road, and even beyond as a result of the plane crash.
Two pilots were killed as a Mirage 2000 fighter jet on a test sortie crashed at the HAL Airport here on Friday morning.
As the crash took place around 10:30 am, which is a peak hour, hundreds of vehicles stranded on the road for more than two hours.

Many corporate professionals and domestic workers who were supposed to hit the offices and areas in HAL respectively by 10:30 am were distressed by the traffic jam that occurred.
Parvathi, a domestic worker was not aware of the crash. "I did not know what happened. After I reached HAL, I heard people talking about the plane crash. I got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour," she said.
