The BBMP on Tuesday submitted to the High Court of Karnataka that it had resolved issues pertaining to 101 streets and 642 footpaths.
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka directed the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) to visit some of the streets and submit a report.
BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad submitted an affidavit before the court regarding the issue.
The bench directed the BBMP to provide specific locations and other details of the streets and footpaths to KSLSA.
"The secretary of the KSLSA, with cooperation of all the stakeholders, will visit the roads or footpaths by making random selections and ascertain whether the claim made in the affidavit is correct. The KSLSA shall submit a report of the spots visited till April 21, 2021," the bench said.
The matter has been posted to April 22.

The KSLSA had submitted a report enclosing 4,998 footpaths-related and 437 pothole-related issues received from the general public.
The court had directed the BBMP commissioner to file an affidavit regarding steps taken to implement the orders passed.
The PIL was filed in 2015 by Vijayan Menon and others seeking a series of directions on the issues pertaining to potholes.
The petition highlighted killer potholes and sought a direction to the BBMP to provide a mechanism enabling citizens to file complaints about the poor conditions of the streets.
