The lush green space and well-manicured sprawling lawns of Shivarajkumar’s residence, Shri Muttu was transformed into a shooting location with artificial props and sets. Shooting for his upcoming movie Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu was on in full steam when the press was called in for a briefing recently.
Shivarajkumar was posing in different get-ups, roles which his father Rajkumar had portrayed and was also shooting the song Huttidare Kannada Naadal Huttabeku. Shivarajkumar seemed to be thrilled portraying Rajkumar’s eleven popular characters of Bhakta Prahlada, Bhakta Kumbara, Veerakesari, Bangarada Manushya, Chalisuva Modagalu, Operation Diamond Rocket’s, etc.
“We will show the get-ups of both Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar in split screens and one will notice the similarities. Shivarajkumar will play six mythological and five social roles in a single song which Rajkumar had portrayed in his different films,” said Raghu Ram, the director.
He also announced that the film was in its finishing stages and the crew will be flying to Dubai on March 9 for the shooting of a song. “We will be officially wrapping up shooting on March 15 and the movie will hit the screens at the end of March,” he reveals.
Shivarajkumar, who is playing the role of a tourist, is all praises for the team. “Most of the plots have scope for the hero and heroine. But, in Cheluveye... every character has a new dimension and each artiste has performed well. I am happy with my new character. Director Raghu Ram, producer N M Suresh and I will continue with the next venture, Shiva Puttaswami from Singanur,” he said.
Talking about Cheluveye..., N M Suresh says, “The film has generated much curiosity among audiences as major portion of the film was shot abroad and it is the only film which is shot at the seven wonders of the world,” he said.
