The film is all set to enter the ‘Guinness World Records’ and ‘Limca Book of Records’ and all the procedures required to get these certificates have been fulfilled. The film was shot on June 6, from 6 am to 6 pm.
The man behind the venture, Thriller Manju, has directed, acted and has done action stunts in the film. “I wanted to create a record by trying out something adventurous. And the idea was in my mind for three to four years. Finally, I succeeded and the shooting experience was wonderful,” says Thriller Manju.
Manju says that it is not a sequel to Saikumar starrer ‘Police Story 2’ and the plot revolves around the police department and their power. “It’s a pure commercial cinema having all the masala – action, comedy, sentiment, romance and two songs. Nearly 50 artistes have acted in it, while 250 crew members have helped in shaping the film,” he adds. The scenes were shot in and around the City, most of it on Palace Grounds.
Directors Sadhu Kokila, Victory Vasu, Lucky Shankar, Anand P Raju, J G Krishna have directed different sequences of the film and the cinematographers are Krishnakumar, M R Seenu, Manohar, Anand, J G Krishna and Gowri Venkatesh. Thriller Manju has written the story and the screenplay in collaboration with Shankar. Venugopal has penned the dialogue. Music is provided by Sagar and editing is by Kemparaj. Manju is all praises for Sudeep for his co-operation and dedication. “He has played a powerful role in the film. In spite of the CCL matches on June 4 and 5, he was on time for shooting on June 6. I am so happy that such a talented artiste joined hands in this venture,” says Manju.
The cast also includes Trishul Sandeep, Shravanth, Arun, Neha Patil, Disha Poovaiah, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Michael Madhu and others. The post-production is on and the film is slated to release on June 24. Thriller Manju has plans to dub ‘Police Story 3’ in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi also.
The film is produced by Shivananda Madashetty under Aditya Creations. “This is my first venture as a producer. Though the budget is more than what I expected, I am happy that it has come out well. There is a film which already holds the Guinness World Record for bringing out the first print in 11 days, 24 minutes and 43 seconds. In order to break that record, we are releasing ‘Police Story 3’ within 11 days,” says
