Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police on Friday invoked the stringent Goonda Act against 26-year-old rowdy-sheeter Manoj R alias Manu alias Kencha, a resident of Hosaguddada.
The rowdy was arrested under the Goonda Act, which allows for one-year imprisonment without bail.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda issued his arrest order on June 13.
According to the police, Manoj faces at least 12 criminal cases, including murder, attempt to murder and extortion.
